Welcome to NineteenTen Photography
I’m Adam Greening, a thirty something self-taught, coffee drinking photographer and artist, with a passion for creating images wherever I can and specialising in location based photography. These days I find myself based just outside of Exeter .
I work in a variety of photographic mediums including;
I mainly work in photography involving people, trying to capture the humanity around us and the beauty in the individual person. As part of this I try to work with people who are not professional models as much if not more than working with professional models themselves.
Film, digital, instant, and pinhole photography I use them all and as long as the camera can produce the photograph then I’ll use it.
I started my life long obsession with photography at a young age, when I say young I mean when I was two years old. I’ve spent years honing my craft, and spent as much time working in the darkroom as I have taking the photos. I’ve come to understand that photography is as much an art form as it is a science, from the care and patience necessary to see the image to the technical skill to take the photograph.
I always try to include a little piece of me in the photographs I take, but most importantly I try to create photographs that can convey the mood, emotion and beauty of the subject and to give the viewer a sense of the identity and personality of the model or location.
